We believe in giving you a lot of responsibility from day one - but that doesn't mean throwing you in at the deep end. One of our major priorities is to make sure you get the training and support you need to develop and succeed, personally as well as professionally. The training starts as soon as you join - and it continues on throughout your career at Escape Travel.

Retail Travel Consultant Training

Your Fast Track Program builds on the foundations you have already established with the completion of your Pre-Learning Program. The Fast Track Program takes a blended learning approach and involves a facilitated start-up program, in-store learning modules, intensive sales labs and on-the-job development. This program is based on the principles of self-directed learning, where you are responsible for driving your own learning. Your Fast Track Program will enable you to further develop your knowledge of Flight Centre Limited systems, products and sales and will begin phase one of the 12–15 month training program.

Leadership Development Program

We are also keen to nurture our future leaders with our Leadership Development Program. It's a comprehensive set of modules designed to prepare you for Leadership and develop you further once you're in that role. We strongly believe in promoting from within and 100% of our Team Leaders have started out as Consultants first. Opportunities for advancement to Leadership start as early as six months into your career if you are successful and display the qualities required.

We recognise that although many of our specialists come to us with proven industry skills - that they also need to continue to be nurtured and developed in any direction they choose. We have fantastic training programmes on offer for experienced Travel Consultants and professionals across a wide range of disciplines.
